National Symposium on Research and Application of Water Jet Technology was held in Beijing

The National Waterjet Technology Research and Application Seminar was held in Beijing, so that we can make good use of water jet technology more actively.
On November 26-27, the 13th National Waterjet Technology Research and Application Technology Seminar was held in Beijing. Wang Ruihe, Director of National Water Jet Technology Committee and Vice President of China University of Petroleum (East China) attended the meeting and delivered the opening speech. The meeting was hosted by the Water Jet Technology Committee of China Occupational Safety and Health Association and undertaken by Arcot Cleaning Equipment Co., LTD.
With the theme of "In-depth research, Combination of industry and Science, Wide application and Scientific development", the conference received more than 20 academic papers. More than 70 experts from more than 10 colleges and universities and more than 30 enterprises attended the meeting. Prof. Shen Zhonghou, Academician of China University of Petroleum (East China) attended the conference and gave a keynote speech on the topic of "The Prospect of Supercritical CO? Jet Technology". China University of Petroleum (East China) and 5 people respectively give technical reports.
The conference focused on the research and development of safety, new jet basic principle, model research, surface cleaning, rock breaking and other aspects, and introduced the relevant situation of the International Academic Conference on water jet in the United States and Japan in 2009, as well as the development status and trend of international water jet technology.
Water jet technology is a technology field with great development potential in today's world. At present, water jet technology is widely used in petroleum, metallurgy, aviation, construction, transportation, chemical industry, machinery, municipal engineering and other fields, and has huge advantages in surface cleaning, mechanical processing, mining and excavation, rock crushing, environmental protection and other aspects. The research of water jet technology in China began in the 1970s, and it has advanced with the western developed countries in the aspects of theoretical research and the development and application of some technologies. The theoretical achievements are fruitful, and a number of influential books and academic monographs on water jet technology have been published. On the new jet research, our country is on the forefront of the world. The pulse jet, cavitation jet, self-excited oscillation pulse jet, self-excited oscillation cavitation jet, mixed abrasive jet and so on have been widely paid attention by foreign countries. Especially in the application of high pressure water jet technology, has made many remarkable achievements, the application range has also been rapid development, in coal mining, rock breaking, cleaning, jet drilling, dam construction, earth dam seepage prevention and other industries have made considerable achievements.
The development and progress of technology cannot be separated from communication and cooperation. The same is true of water jet technology. In particular, its application has a great development space worthy of our expectation.
